MIKE ROMAN - CEO/Executive Producer
Mike Roman brings over 20 years of experience in business leadership and strategic investing to his role as CEO of Red Sky Studios. He has led multiple companies across healthcare, aviation, media, and private equity, and now channels that entrepreneurial vision into producing high-impact, values-driven entertainment.
With an MBA and a strong background in business and entrepreneurship, he offers a strategic and disciplined approach to creative ventures in the film industry. He focuses on creating high impact and resonant films along with backing stories that inspire and endure. He also assists in structuring investment partnerships and developing commercial marketing videos to maximize ROI.
Mike’s producing credits in full feature films include Finding You (Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions), The Last Rodeo (Angel Studios), and The Other Side of the Window, currently in post-production.
STEPHEN PRESTON - COO/Producer
Stephen brings stories to life with intention—films designed not just to entertain, but to linger, challenge, and inspire. His journey began far from studio lots, on the road with touring bands and theatrical productions, where live audiences taught him the power of timing, emotion, and craft. That early foundation shaped a storyteller fluent in both the technical precision and human heartbeat of cinema.
Over the course of his career, Stephen has helped bring more than 35 theatrical feature films and multiple television series to the screen, with credits including I Can Only Imagine, Woodlawn, and Finding You,. As a Producer, his recent work includes The Shift, The Last Rodeo, and The Other Side of the Window—a corporate thriller infused with redemptive truth.
Through Red Sky Studios, Stephen collaborates with world-class creatives and partners to produce elevated, meaningful content distributed through major platforms and studios worldwide. JOHN NELSON - Visual Effects Supervisor
John Nelson is a seasoned visual effects supervisor with a keen artistic eye and a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling. At Red Sky Studios, he leads a globally distributed team of VFX artists, utilizing cutting-edge tools and technology to craft visuals that are both photorealistic and uniquely tailored to each project.
In 2025, John oversaw the completion of over 200 VFX shots for The Last Rodeo, bringing to life dynamic bull-riding sequences, expansive crowds, and authentic rodeo environments. Previously, in 2023, he supervised more than 500 VFX shots for the worldwide release of The Shift , demonstrating his ability to manage large-scale visual effects productions effectively.
John’s filmography also includes work on Finding You (2020) and Woodlawn (2015), where he contributed as a visual effects/motion graphics artist, enhancing the films’ storytelling and visual appeal. His commitment to excellence and innovation continues to elevate the visual narrative of every project he undertakes.
